Ahmadinejad's latest comment about the killing of millions of Jews during World War II comes as Iran is locked in a bitter dispute with the U.S. and other Western nations over its nuclear program. Even as that fight continues, his remarks were sure to earn the Iranian president an even more frigid reception when he heads to New York on Tuesday to attend the U.N. General Assembly.
"The anger of the world's professional killers is (a source of) pride for us," Ahmadinejad was quoted as saying by the official IRNA news agency.
He was responding to a question about criticism from the European Union following a speech on Friday in which he questioned whether the Holocaust was a "real event." The "killers" reference appeared to be directed primarily at Israel and the U.S. Read More
Donnie's Remarks...
Friends, I arrived home early this Sunday morning from my first tour of the state of Israel. My heart has been blessed beyond words. My first night there, while walking the beach in Tel Aviv, I found myself conversing with a delightful husband and wife missionary team from Calvary Chapel. I believe the word they gave me was from the Lord. They told me that after this trip I would never read the scriptures in the same way again. They were right. It’s like I went from 2D to 3D and my visual of God's Word went from black and white to color. Several weeks have past since I have posted any news articles. This has been intentional. During this time I have been upgrading Prophecy Signs website, and more importantly, reflecting on this ministry. At some point , we all wonder if our ministry is for ourselves, or for the Lord. Seeing the spectacular Temple Mount, walking in the steps of our Lord Jesus, and visiting the Holocaust museum (the very day the ongoing diatribe of ungodly, unholy hatred toward the Jews was declared) have helped me to understand in a very real way that the prophecy of Ezekiel 37 has come to pass in our time (The dry bones have been regathered). God is beginning to deal with the apple of His eye... again (Zech 2:8). And thanks to a wonderful Jewish tour guide named Mishi, I clearly believe when someone like Ahmadinejad tells you he is going to kill you, you should believe him.
The Jewish root is holy. And we, the Gentiles were grafted in among them and have shared in their spiritual blessing of the promised New Covenant for almost 2000 years. As the Church, we need to be aware that now could be the time that God is going to fulfill His covenant promises to the nation Israel. "And so, all Israel will be saved" Romans 11:26. If this is the case, then hard times will soon be upon us. Ezekiel 38 and 39 paint the dark picture. Mighty men and women will need to be prepared to stand with Israel. God continues expressing His love for the nation; "I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you." Genesis 12:3
