20 Key Prophecy Signs » Beginning of the End?

Lately it seems that there is an inescapable apocalyptic tenor resounding throughout the world...
Many Bible scholars today are hard-pressed to locate even a single prophecy out of the myriad of Bible prophecies remaining to be fulfilled that couldn't occur in the very near future. A few examples are listed below:
1. Psalm 83 refers to a climactic concluding Arab-Israeli war. This prophecy foretells of an Arab confederacy comprised of Palestinians, Syrians, Saudis, Egyptians, Lebanese, Jordanians and likely their terrorist bedfellows, the Hezbollah, Hamas, al-Qaida and more. In my book, "Isralestine the Ancient Blueprints of the Future Middle East," I write extensively about this prophecy and its near-term fulfillment. This prophecy could easily be fulfilled in the next one to two decades.
2. Ezekiel 38 and 39, the last-days Russian-Iranian led nuclear-equipped consortia of nine populations that comes to invade the Jewish state of Israel. Today Russia and Iran have become the best of national friends. Russia has helped Iran develop nuclear technologies and, as referenced above, Iran has expressed a desire to "wipe Israel off the map." This prophecy will likely occur in the aftermath of the Psalm 83 event, according to my assessments, and could also easily occur in the early decades of this century. Read More
As Israel completes 'Turning Point 3' in preparation for attack, I want to share a potential prophecy that I have not seen before. As a 'life-long learner', I think it is significant and worth considering. Does Psalm 83 predict that a coalition of Arab nations immediately surrounding Israel are going to come together to try to destroy her, before the Gog/Magog battle of Ezekiel 38 & 39 begins? There is no historical record of this Arab coalition against Israel.
Psalms 83:4-8
[4] They have said, "Come, and let us (the Arabs) wipe them (Jews) out as a nation, That the name of Israel be remembered no more."
[5] For they have conspired together with one mind; Against Thee do they make a covenant:
[6] The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab, and the Hagrites;
[7] Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;
[8] Assyria also has joined with them; They have become a help to the children of Lot. Selah.
In an intriguing explanation, author Bill Salus addresses a prophecy puzzle by connecting the destruction of Damascus/Syria (See Isa 17:1) with Israel as she expands her borders. Psalm 83 may indicate that in response to an attack by Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Gaza and Saudi Arabia, Israel will find itself fulfilling numerous prophecies such as: They have become an exceedingly great army (Ezek 37:10), the execution on those who despise them (Ezek 28:25), they will then dwell securely (Ezek 28:26, 38:8), they will acquire Arab lands and great plunder (Obad 1:10, Jer 49:2, Ezek 38:13), they will be a people dwelling without walls (Ezek 38:11), they will be a nation at peace in the Middle East (Ezek 38:11), and they will become one of the wealthiest nations on earth (Zeph 2:7,9).
This interpretation may also answer another perplexing problem: Why are the current opponents of the Jewish state (the Palestinians and their Arab neighbors) not mentioned in Ezekiel's Russian/Iranian list of attacking nations? If this is true, it could prove to be an eventful summer.
