In the News...

The Sydney Morning Herald.  Jason Kout Soukis.  November 14, 2009.

JERUSALEM: Yehuda Glick is a 44-year-old American-born Jew who spends most of every day preparing for the arrival of the Messiah in Jerusalem.  Since he became the executive director of the Temple Institute, Mr Glick's main task has been to supervise the manufacture of the utensils the high priests will need when the day arrives.  Crowns and other instruments made of solid gold fill glass cases in the Temple Institute museum in Jerusalem's Old City.  Other artifacts include an array of copper urns, trumpets made of silver and garments to be worn by the High Priest, woven from golden thread.  Musical instruments, including hand-made harps and lyres, lie ready to be brought to life upon the Messiah's appearance.

So, when can we expect this momentous event?  Read More

Donnie's Remarks...

The prophesied re-gathering of the Jews into their homeland (Ezekiel 37:11-13) and the rebirth of Israel as a nation in a day (Ezekiel 37:10-14, Isaiah 43:5-6, 66:7-8) point to our generation as being the last.  I believe the Bible teaches that once Israel became a nation, a generation (70-80 years according to Psalm 90:10) would not pass away before we would see the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

A Middle East peace plan is also a prophecy sign indicating we are living in the last days.  To date, this plan remains elusive, but once conceived, it will be a seven-year agreement (Daniel 9:27).

Many have their eyes focused on the European Union as the prophesied Revived Roman Empire of the last days. It's an intriguing possibility.  Time will tell.

As for me, the key sign to be watching for is the rebuilding of the temple (Revelation 11:1-2, Daniel 9:27).  This event is still future, but rest assured, once permission is given, the various temple organizations will have it completed post-haste.
